Players, coaches and management to interact with fans at area homes and diners

Reaching out to prospective season -ticket holders, the Nets will launch their Ticket Influencer Program by hosting several upcoming catered cocktail parties at area homes, and will hold several breakfasts called “Pancakes and Hoops” at select New Jersey diners, said Brett Yormark, president and CEO of Nets Sports & Entertainment, the Nets’ parent company.

Set to begin this spring, both new programs continue the Nets’ goal of becoming the most accessible team in sports.

The Ticket Influencer Program will identify key season-ticket holders and the team will throw several catered cocktail parties in their homes, with guest appearances from players, coaches or front-office executive. Each reception will be attended by as many as 50 potential season-ticket buyers.

Each “Pancakes and Hoops” breakfast will include a Nets player, coach or team executive, who will dine with 10 prospective season-ticket holders at a New Jersey diner to discuss the team and answer any questions. Potential season-ticket holders will be invited by the team’s ticket sales department.

“Both our Ticket Influencer Program and `Pancakes and Hoops’ are unique and exciting programs that give our fans unprecedented access to their team,” Yormark said. “We want our prospective season-ticket buyers to interact with our players, coaches and front office executives and begin to feel part of the Nets family. It is important for them to know how much we appreciate their interest in the Nets.”
