Chris Brahe joined Nets Basketball in April, 2005 as the Vice President of Corporate Sales, charged with bringing best-in-class brands into the Nets family of sponsors. He became Vice President of Property Sales in 2006. Brahe leads the charge for the Nets sponsorship sales efforts and is an integral part of the team’s future transition to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Brahe started his professional career at the Nets in 1994, and by 1999, held the position of Director of Ticket Sales.
Prior to joining the Nets for the second time, Brahe had spent the last six years at NASCAR’s corporate marketing headquarters in New York City where he sold corporate sponsorships for the league. Most recently, Chris was the Director of Industry Marketing, where he managed all of NASCAR’s team sponsorship sales efforts.
A native of New York City, Chris received his B.S. from Bryant College in Rhode Island. He currently resides in Manhattan with his wife, Patty, and son, Tyler.
