2007 All-Star Starters Revealed
Cavaliers forward LeBron James led all players in votes received in the NBA All-Star Balloting program presented by T-Mobile that determines starters for the 2007 NBA All-Star Game. James, who earned Most Valuable Player honors in last year’s midseason classic in Houston, received 2,516,049 votes, the second-highest total in history behind Yao’s 2005 total of 2,558,278. James was one of the 10 starters revealed on TNT. This year’s All-Star festivities, held in a non-NBA city for the first time, will take place in Las Vegas, culminating with the All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 18 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

2007 All-Star Balloting: Fourth Returns
NEW YORK, Jan. 11, 2007 – Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets and Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers lead the Western Conference, while LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat lead the Eastern Conference in votes received after the fourth returns of 2007 NBA All-Star Balloting presented by T-Mobile.

Tickets for Jam Session Go on Sale Jan. 15
Tickets for the 2007 NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by adidas, the NBA’s five-day interactive basketball-theme park, will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. Former NBA Player and ESPN Analyst Greg Anthony will be on site at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino to tip off the sale of Jam Session tickets and give away 100 tickets to local Las Vegas children who participate in the Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA -- a program run through NBA Cares, the league's social responsibility initiative.

Yao Ming, the leading vote-getter each of the past two seasons, has my vote for the West's starting center, while three young stars -- Chris Paul, Dwight Howard and Joe Johnson -- are set to make their first-ever NBA All-Star appearances.

T-Mobile Huddle Up All-Stars
Bob Lanier and Jerome Williams spoke to students from James Cashman Middle School about their chance to become T-Mobile Huddle Up All-Stars and experience the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam at NBA All-Star 2007 that will take place on Friday Feb. 16. The event will feature this year’s top rookies taking on the league’s best second-year players.
